The situation surrounding ’s “Budget” video has taken a new and more detailed turn.
has come forward with a full breakdown of events, laying out what he describes as a clear timeline of communication between the Zambia Association of Musicians and the Yo Maps team.
According to him, the process started on April 26th, when ZAM reached out following public concerns about the video. He explains that they engaged Director Lo and advised that the video be edited directly on YouTube instead of being taken down, in order to protect both production costs and viewership.
He further states that the director later confirmed the edits had been made and submitted through the distributor, and that follow-up conversations were held after complaints continued.
B Flow also used the moment to highlight what he says is ZAM’s continued support for Yo Maps over time, including visa assistance, international bookings, and involvement in past issues affecting the artist.
But that version of events has been strongly challenged.
, Yo Maps’ manager, says there was no direct communication between B Flow and Yo Maps or Olios Management before any public statements were made.
He also made it clear that speaking to Director Lo does not count as engaging the artist’s official team, and rejected claims that ZAM has ever secured bookings for Yo Maps.
This has now created two completely different versions of the same situation.
On one side, a detailed timeline pointing to engagement and support. On the other, a firm denial of that communication and those claims.
What makes this moment stand out is how specific both sides have become. This is no longer general opinion. It is now about timelines, roles, and who is actually involved behind the scenes.
For many following the story, the key question is simple.
Who is telling the accurate version?
As things stand, there is no confirmed resolution, and the situation remains open.
What happens next may depend on whether further proof is shared, or if both sides choose to address this directly.
What do you think about this?
