The Zambia Association of Musicians has announced the passing of Sharai Mulonda Mulenga, the wife of celebrated Zambian musician, songwriter and producer Richard Mulenga, popularly known as T Sean.
In a statement issued by the association, ZAM expressed deep sadness over the loss and extended its condolences to T Sean, the Mulonda and Mulenga families, and everyone close to them during this difficult time.
The association also appealed to members of the music industry, fans and the public to keep T Sean and his family in their prayers while they mourn.
Funeral and burial arrangements have not yet been announced. ZAM says further details about the funeral gathering and burial programme will be shared with the public once they are confirmed.
T Sean has built a respected career in Zambia's music industry over the years, making the news a deeply felt loss across the entertainment community. Messages of sympathy have continued to pour in as fellow musicians, supporters and members of the public stand with the family.
