Zambia international Lameck Banda is reportedly unwilling to return to Italian side US Lecce as a dispute over his contract continues.

According to Bola News, Banda is still in Lusaka and has informed those close to him that he does not want to rejoin the Serie A club under the current circumstances.

Sources claim the winger is unhappy after Lecce allegedly extended his contract without his approval. He reportedly believes he was asked to sign a document written in Italian, a language he does not understand, leaving him questioning the process.

The dispute does not end there. Banda is also said to be owed one month's salary together with winning bonuses, with sources claiming he feels he has been treated unfairly by the club.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian side Al Fateh have reportedly shown interest in signing the Chipolopolo star. However, Lecce are said to have turned down an offer worth €2.5 million.

Neither Banda nor US Lecce has publicly commented on the reported claims.
